Nato, or the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, is an intergovernmental military alliance established in 1949.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization was created by the United States, Canada, and several Western European nations to provide collective security against the Soviet Union. In 1949 the organisation involved stopping Soviet expansion, preventing a revival of nationalistic militarism in Europe and encouraging European political integration. But, over the time it has changed and in recent years it became more focused on peacekeeping. The organisation is considered to be the largest and most powerful military alliance in history. It is committed to democracy, human rights and the rule of law with all decisions taken by consensus.NATO’s main aim is to protect the freedom of its members. Its targets include weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, and cyber attacks.
In the year 2030, due to an epidemic outbreak and over population, People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation relied on excessive martial rule and oppression against their own people. As a result of this, people sought refuge in neighboring countries, but the consequences were terrible. Now, NATO faces its greatest challenge yet. Members have gathered to lower the aggressiveness in the allied zone and to try to stop the epidemic spread, which might even result in a global outbreak.
